Forget the NBA Finals...
I have joined my Thai friends here in World Cup madness. Several of my co-workers stayed up until 4 am on Wednesday night to see Germany defeat Poland. I love the hype! The Director-general of the Religious Affairs Dept announced that Thailand's Buddhist monks are, "allowed to watch the current World Cup matches on television but they should strictly observe serenity - no cheering, and, most importantly, no betting."

that the monks get to watch is impressive, but did you see D Wade? if not, you should catch the footage on espn.com before you write off the sport.

Wade was not human in those playoffs. Old Man Mourning wasn't too shabby either.
